Bike Service by Appointment (June–October)

During the summer months, we shift to a Bike Service by Appointment Request model so we can continue offering repairs and maintenance while operating efficiently during Palm Springs’ slower season. From June through October, customers can visit our website and submit a service appointment request for bike repairs or maintenance, available Thursday through Saturday.

Our website portal will ask several questions regarding your bicycle, the issue you are experiencing, and the type of service you believe may be needed. Please be as specific as possible, as detailed information helps us better evaluate the repair, prepare in advance, and determine the appropriate amount of time needed. Once your request is submitted, our team will review it and confirm an available appointment slot for you to bring your bike in.

It is crucial that you arrive at the agreed-upon appointment time and promptly pick up your bicycle once you are notified that the repair is complete. Due to our modified seasonal operating schedule, we will not reopen the shop outside of posted hours for late pickups.

Please note that same-day completion is not guaranteed. Some repairs are straightforward and may be completed the same day, while others may require additional labor time, diagnostics, or the ordering of replacement parts. If parts are needed, we will communicate estimated timing and next steps as soon as possible.

We appreciate your understanding and support during the summer season.

A $10 reservation deposit will be collected when submitting your request. This deposit serves as a placeholder for your requested service slot and will be removed from your final repair or service total if the reservation is accepted and services are completed. The only circumstance in which the $10 deposit would be forfeited is if your repair appointment is confirmed and you do not arrive for the scheduled date and time.

During this time, the regular day-to-day costs of operating a business still continue—things like payroll, rent, utilities, insurance, software, and maintaining our bike fleet. Staying open full-time with very little activity can create unnecessary losses that ultimately impact long-term sustainability.

By moving to modified summer hours and offering certain services by appointment, we’re able to operate smarter, continue serving guests who need us, care for our equipment properly, and keep the business strong for the busy season ahead.
