All Rentals Require A Valid Photo ID And MAJOR Credit Card At The Time Of Rental. Debit Cards Or Cash May Be Used For Final Payment But cannot be used for Mandatory booking Pre-Authorizations.

***ALL RESERVATIONS ARE MEANT FOR FULL DAY RENTALS ONLY. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU MAKE A RESERVATION YOU WILL BE CHARGED A FULL DAY RATE WHETHER OR NOT YOU KEEP THE BIKE FOR THE FULL DAY. The reason for this is we hold the bike(s) for the whole day, other walk in guests are unable to rent the bikes you reserve. You may inquire on a first come first serve basis about half day rentals for that particular day.

*A full day is between 8am-5pm (open business hours) or a full 24 hour term. There are no refunds for early returns.

*Disclosure: Bike Palm Springs Rentals reserves the right to implement dynamic pricing for special events like music festivals such as Coachella and Stagecoach, as well as large cycling/sporting events like the Tour de Palm Springs, triathlons, Lacrosse tournaments, Modernism Week, and major holidays. This is similar to how hotels modify their pricing during certain holidays and special events.

This adjustment is necessary to cover the surge in attendees and the associated logistical challenges. Managing these events often means declining walk-in bike rental requests to ensure dedicated service for participants. Increased demand leads to a higher volume of rentals, which necessitates additional staffing to effectively manage logistics, customer service, and bike maintenance. As a result, we adjust our pricing during these peak times to reflect the overall costs of maintaining our high level of service, including managing inventory and providing support to customers who may need assistance.

**Please note that additional charges may also apply to special arrangements/requests/corporate groups that require blocking off inventory from our normal operations.** These adjustments are essential to ensure we can accommodate everyone’s needs and continue delivering quality service. *Our bikes are equipped with standard pedals, you may bring in your own pedals you wish. Please be advised there is a nominal charge of $10.00 for this. The reason for the charge is that we have had many guests ruin the crank arms by stripping them, therefore it became a policy that we must do it in house.

KIDS’ BIKES

Abound LR Ebike or Rad Wagon 4 Electric Cargo Bike

Child Seat for Electric Bikes

Please Note: Bicycles are not to be transported inside vehicles i.e. sedans/suv’s as improper transportation can cause damage. Bikes are only meant to be transported on bike racks (we do not rent or provide bike racks for guest use). The only exception to this rule is if you safely and properly transport bicycles in the bed of a truck, and even then improper handling of equipment may cause damage to cables/brakes/derailleurs and other cosmetic damage which the contract holder is responsible for and will bear all costs. Most of our guests opt for Uber/Lyft services to get to our store and ride back to their lodging accommodations.

*Cancellation Policy

Once a booking is confirmed, cancellations made 48 hours prior to the first day of the rental period will incur a $15.00 processing fee per bike.

By making this reservation, you acknowledge that the equipment is reserved specifically for you and will not be available to other guests, therefore denied to other guests who inquire after you and you agree to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy.

If the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the rental start date the booking will be subject to a charge of 50% of the full rental amount  the booking was originally reserved for.

Weather Policy:

Rain on the first day of the rental period may be considered for exception. In this case, we may offer the option to cancel the booking or issue a store credit for a future date, subject to inventory availability. However, price adjustments or refunds are not guaranteed for weather occurring during or after the rental period has begun.

No-Shows:
Last-minute no-shows for any number of bikes are non-refundable under any circumstances.
